Woo, today's dance exchange programme was awesome!. The objective of the dance exchange programme is to present our SYF dance piece to the other school and exchange comments.

Reached music room punctually and did some warm up. It's been a long time since i reached music room punctually cause I'm always late for practice. But, there will still be dancers who are later than me. Haha. Seriously, we lack of discipline.

After this, we went to the hall and waited for the Ang Mo Kio sec and Shu Qun sec dancers to arrive. Mean while, we did a run through of our SYF dance piece. After they arrived, we were separated into rows of alternate schools and the first item line up for us is hip hop. (: Hip hop was conducted by my dance instructor Ms Kay, cause hip hop was one of her specialty. After hip hop we were given a few minutes to take a break.

After break, we were told to sit in a big circles and we were taught by the Ang Mo Kio instructor Mr Jasper. He taught us about the "kinetic particle theory", which is about balancing and standing/moving up right in a straight line or what. He also taught us that the way we express out our voices makes a difference to our body language. I don't know how to explain here. He was damn funny and hilarious and dramatic. Then we had our break again.

Next up was by the Shu Qun sec's dance instructor (i forget her name). She taught as new jazz which is a dance that Ms Kay seldom teach us. We did quite a number of turns/spins and there are a lot a weird name for the jazz steps which i can't remember.

Then, each of the school sent out one representative to see which school present their dance item first and my school was the last. So Shu Qun secondary goes first, then followed by the Ang Mo Kio then us. i dare not say that my school is better than Ang Mo Kio sec cause i seriously think that Ang Mo Kio sec is better than us!. They are really great, full of emotions and their face expression was there. not only that, their dance is really nice and one of their guys there can do those ballet stuff and those flip which i don't think we know how to do.

Unlike us, we lack of emotions and i think that this is what we can learn from them:D I remembered two years back then at Ang Mo Kio cc, we also have this dance exchange programme with Ang Mo Ko sec and i remembered that they were not really good:x But their today's performance really gave me an eye opener. They improved damn a lot and even maybe better than us. Woo, another thing to learn from them. We must learn to endure more pain and put in more effort and time so that we could achieve something rather than staying at the same standard. :D

Lastly, of course the exchanging of feed backs, a group photo and cheers of encouragement for everyone. Omg, the dancers are making me crazy again. Haha. People dancing out there, you rocks!.
